Its a pretty profound title, but what the hell? As a girl, every now and then I need a boost, something to get me fired up and ready to face the world. The great luxury for me was that to gain that bit of empowerment, I had to look no further than a few ladies within the comfort of my own living room. All I had to was listen to music, surf the lovely online world, and cap my night with a few episodes of Sex and the City while eating my new favorite ice cream, Cherry Vanilla :) All I needed was the look, the edge, and the wisdom. To inspire me in these areas, I looked to three lovely ladies.
When you look good, you feel good. It's a true statement. Looking good = confidence, and confidence is an attitude. It empowers you to take risks and do what you can to conquer the world. Screw anything that stands in your way. The right clothes, shoes, hair, and makeup contribute to this confidence boost. Now, for some of you, you might not care, but hey, it always works for me. For inspiration in this area, I look to my "kindred spirit", Kim Kardashian. To accompany her amazing work ethic and tremendous heart, this lady has it going on ! I always get new ideas from her. A little mood music, please? Music is my favorite outlet. It can say what you're feeling even when you quite can't say what it is yourself. Music can set whatever mood it is you're looking to feel. If I want to feel this empowerment I keep rambling on about, I turn on some Miranda Lambert. She's a country powerhouse, who doesn't feel the need to conform to any stereotypes. She plays by her own rules. Let's face it, Miranda is a BADASS ! Nothing gets me fired up like a little push from Miranda. (Personal Faves: Gunpowder & Lead, Kerosene, Only Prettier)
